Acoustic and Tactile Unit for Pedestrian Traffic Lights.
A visually impaired person needs a navigating device to use in an urban environment.
The aim was to design an upgrade of a device that beeped to alert a traffic light turned
green. The idea was that this device would now be able to transmit more information either
tactilely or by emitting a certain sound so that the user would know how many lanes must be
crossed, the direction faced, and the final destination and of course one that would not be
tagged as an instrument for the handicapped.
